Rules and Regulations
The Columbus, Ohio IIBA® Chapter is governed by the Board of Directors. The Board shall be responsible for carrying out the purposes and objectives of the Chapter and respected members.
All Directors are members in good standing with IIBA® and the Chapter. Directors are elected by majority vote of chapter members in attendance at the Annual General Meeting. IIBA’s Governance Framework:

Roles and Responsibilities
President
The President is the chief executive officer for the Chapter and of the Board, and shall provide leadership and direction in pursuit of the Chapter’s stated objectives. The President also performs such duties as are customary for presiding officers and serves as a member ex-officer with the right to vote on all committees.
Secretary
The Secretary is the chief information officer for the Chapter and the Board and shall be responsible for the facilitation of information among chapter members and the IIBA®.
Treasurer
The Treasurer is the chief financial officer for the Chapter and the Board and shall be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial affairs of the Chapter.
Vice President, Education
The Vice President for Education is responsible for the Chapter’s professional development programs designed to increase the competence of the business analysis community.
Vice President, Marketing & Communication
The Vice President for Communications & Marketing is responsible for promoting the local Chapter and IIBA® via internal and external publications and events.
Vice President, Membership
The Vice President for Membership will represent the chapter within the central Ohio community to promote chapter benefits, recruit new members, welcome new members, and ensure renewals. The VP, Membership will represent the chapter to the IIBA governing organization.
Vice President, Technology
The Vice President for Technology is responsible for development and maintenance of the Chapter’s website and technical infrastructure.

To communicate with members and promote the goals of the organization, the Columbus Chapter of IIBA® uses a variety of methods including chapter meetings, BA-CONference, the chapter website, newsletters and email communications, most of which require the use of member’s personal contact information.
The privacy of our members is very important to us. Privacy, from our point of view, and from that of our members and partners, is about keeping a promise. It is about:

To fulfill your request for a new membership or subsequent renewal
To maintain information related to your membership, qualifications, and certifications
To track attendance and participation in chapter professional development activities

To provide you with the benefits you are entitled to as a member
Personal Data
We collect only the necessary information about you, such as name, address, telephone number, and email address ("personal data") through our site and from IIBA in order to maintain your membership in good standing. We will not store or collect personal data unless you have provided it to us voluntarily.
We will not sell, rent or market your personal data to third parties without your permission to do so. The information you provide will not be shared outside of the chapter membership, governmental agencies, affiliated programs or contracted third-party service providers.
Security
When making financial transactions with us online (e.g., membership, donations, online conference registration) we secure your information in transit to us and upon receiving your order to safeguard your personal data. We do not maintain a record of your financial information after the transaction is complete.
